Marijuana Grow House Busted In Arlington

UPDATE Wednesday, January 20: Mug shots released of suspects Tri Vo, 30 and JLicia Perry, 25.
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - DPS theft investigators were working a warrant in the 5800 block of Mangum in Arlington when they discovered a marijuana grow house around 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The marijuana grow was under the deck of the house. The Arlington Fire Department was brought out to make sure the structure was safe for agents to conduct their investigation and get evidence.
Agents spent hours collecting evidence from the scene.
DPS spokesperson Lonny Haschel called it a relatively small operation with less than 100 plants. He described the grow house as a "unique room under the backyard."
It was approximately 20 feet from the house in the backyard covered by an outdoor patio. Under the patio was a covering that led to a hole that was approximately 9 feet deep. A ladder led to the bottom of the underground location. The underground opening where the Marijuana was being grown was approximately 14 ft. by 8 ft.
Two people were arrested at the residence: Tri Vo, 31 and Jlicia Perry, 26. Both suspects were takento the Tarrant County Jail for cargo theft. The investigation continues and additional charges may be forthcoming.
