Mansfield Woman Charged In Death Of 3-Year-Old

MANSFIELD (CBSDFW.COM) -- A 23-year-old woman has been charged with capital murder in the death of a 3-year-old boy.
The child was transported to Medical Center of Arlington from a motel in Grand Prairie on Wednesday with suspicious injuries. He was pronounced dead at 11:05 p.m.
Andrea Nicole Jennings, has been charged with capital murder of child under 10 years of age. She remains at the Mansfield jail on $1,000,000 bond.
Grand Prairie Police initially determined that the incident leading to the child's death occurred in Grand Prairie, but it was later determined to have begun at the suspect's residence in the 1600 block of East Debbie Lane in Mansfield.
Jennings was initially arrested on a felony charge of injury to a child, as well as additional unrelated outstanding warrants.
