Man Shot While Driving In East Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Fort Worth are investigating a shooting that left one person injured. It happened at around 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, somewhere in the eastern part of the city.

According to authorities, an adult male was shot by another person while he was driving. The victim was able to reach a Chevron gas station, located at the intersection of Bridgewood Drive and Bridge Street, to seek help. The injury was not life threatening.

Still, the 50-year-old victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was reportedly struck in the face. His name has not been released.

Police are trying to determine exactly where the shooting took place, and who may have fired the shot. There have been no details given about a possible suspect at this time.
