Man Shot & Killed By Girlfriend's Son At Garland Home

GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) - A 65-year-old man is dead after he was shot by his girlfriend's son during an argument.

According to Garland police they got a call from 31-year-old Joseph Robic at 3pm Saturday, saying he shot his mother's live-in boyfriend Ray Keech.

Police say Robic came to visit his mother and got into an argument with Keech. The argument became violent, and during the altercation Robic pulled out a pistol and shot Keech.

The shooting occurred in the 5200 block of Welbeck Court in South Garland.

Robic is now in police custody and is being held on a murder charge. His mother was not at home at the time of the incident.

Bond has not been set.
