Man Shot By Homeowner After Attempted Break-In

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police were called to a shooting in the 7300 block of Benning Avenue early this morning.
Authorities say that a man tried to break into a home and was shot by the owner of the house.
The suspect and another man were found a few blocks away and were taken into custody by police.
Officers say that the suspect and the victim did know each other, and that the suspect's injuries are not life threatening.
The investigation is on-going.
