PHOENIX (AP) — A Minnesota man who harassed a flight attendant and two passengers while intoxicated has been sentenced to prison in Phoenix.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for Arizona said Friday that 40-year-old Jason Peter Anhorn was sentenced earlier this week to 10 months in federal prison.
Anhorn previously pleaded guilty to interference with flight crew.
Prosecutors say Anhorn, of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, was drunk while traveling on a Spirit Airlines flight from Dallas to Phoenix in January.
They say Anhorn physically harassed the lead flight attendant, shook the head of a female passenger and spit twice in the face of a male passenger restraining him.
The FBI, the Federal Air Marshal Service and police from Phoenix and Mesa handled the investigation.
