Man Questioned After Fatal Dallas Shooting

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - One person is dead and a man is being questioned after a shooting in Dallas. The attack happened just after midnight on Tuesday at the Saxony Apartments, an upscale complex located along Montfort Drive.

Detectives are focusing on a third-floor apartment unit at the complex, but the victim was found outside, in a first-floor breezeway. A woman was being questioned at the scene. She was visibly shaken and screaming, "He killed my brother."

The victim was rushed to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, but he did not survive.

Investigators did detain one man who has been described as a person of interest in this case. He is being questioned by police in hopes of finding out who is responsible for the shooting and what could have sparked the attack. Officials said that the person of interest is someone who knew the victim.
