Man Pinned Under DART Train Survives

Updated 9:45 p.m. Trains are now running. The man who fell onto the train tracks suffered a broken arm and some cuts.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A man was pinned under a DART train at the White Rock Station after falling from the platform Thursday night.

Emergency crews were able to free him from beneath a train at the Blue Line stop in the 7300 block of East Northwest Highway shortly after 8 p.m.

Witnesses said the man stumbled and fell underneath the approaching train. Several witnesses said he seemed intoxicated.

He was taken to Baylor hospital with unknown injuries.

DART was still working on the rails as of 9:15 p.m. Thursday night.
