GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) - Grand Prairie police have a teenager in custody for allegedly choking his grandfather to death.

A silent 911 call around 11:30 a.m. Monday led officers to a home on NE 19th Street where the man had been killed.

Grand Prairie Police say when officers got there, they found a woman who told them a man had just killed her husband and the killer was still in the house.

Officers found the victim, who they tried to resuscitate but could not.  They also found the suspect.  The suspect is in custody at the Grand Prairie Detention Facility and is being interviewed by detectives.

Names of the suspect and victim have not yet been released.

Detectives are also talking with witnesses to try to figure out what led to the incident.
