Man Who Fell From DFW Hyatt Identified; No Foul Play

GRAPEVINE (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport police are investigating the death of man who fell from an upper floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, located at Terminal C.

The victim has been identified as 65-year-old Eugene Dickey from Coppell, who died at 8:35 p.m. on Tuesday.

Also, there were "no signs of foul play evident at the scene," according to investigators.

Officials with the Hyatt Regency DFW issued a statement to CBS 11 News that said, in part -

"We can confirm that an individual at the hotel passed away yesterday evening and at this time, the hotel is cooperating with the local authorities in their investigation of this matter."

Investigators are at the scene and will remain there Wednesday.

The hotel is open and business has resumed. No airport traffic, on the ground or in the air, was impacted by the incident.
