DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police arrested a man for stabbing two others with a broken bottle overnight.
It happened around 2:00 a.m. in the 8400 block of Foxwood Lane.
Police say a witness flagged down officers and led them to the back yard where one victim was bleeding from the stomach area. That victim was rushed to the hospital.
Officers were told that the suspect and the victim that was found on the patio were arguing, and both started to shove each other. The suspect then took a glass bottle, broke it and stabbed the victim multiple times in the stomach.
One of the witnesses attempted to break up the fight and was also stabbed or cut once in the back.
The suspect left but officers found him a short time later on Pleasant Drive and arrested him.
Alvaro Quevedo, 25, is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He is currently in The Dallas County Jail.
Police say they do not know the conditions of the victims.
