Missing 12-year-old Nacogdoches girl found safe, reuniting with family

NACOGDOCHES — An Amber Alert for a missing 12-year-old girl who went missing Thursday morning has been canceled after she was found safe, according to the Nacogdoches Police Department.

"We are in the process of reuniting her with family," Nacogdoches police said in a social media post. "We do not have any further information at this time.  

The child had been last seen around 7:45 a.m. on Tanglewood Circle. She was described as a medium-skinned Black female wearing a black shirt with gold letters that read "QUEEN," blue jean shorts, black shoes, and diamond stud earrings. She was carrying a backpack, a crossbody bag, and a clarinet."
