IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) — North Texas LEGO-lovers have been making their way to the Irving Convention Center this weekend for the BrickUniverse LEGO Fan Expo.

The two-day event showcased multiple facets of the LEGO universe, including art, activity areas and talks with LEGO experts, according to event organizers.

Creations such as paintings, world landmarks and LEGO-ized caricatures of attendees were on display. LEGO replicas of more than 40 famous sky-scrapers and a 360-square-feet LEGO model of Pearl Harbor were some of the scheduled highlights.
