The guys are rock legends and tonight, (September 3) you can help with efforts to honor them at The Vaughan Brothers Art Project Fundraiser Concert at the Kessler Theater.  And check this out.  There will be autographed Fender guitars from Eric Clapton and Steve Miller up for auction between sets. Jackson Browne also signed one of his CDs that will also be up for bid.

Lots to do this Labor Day Weekend Friday September 4- Monday September 7 at the Dallas Arboretum. There is $5 admission to the Main Garden, including the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden.

It looks to be a big Labor Day Weekend at the Perot Museum. First, it is the final days to see the "Amazing Animals: Built to Survive" traveling exhibit. It closes September 7. It is also the final days for three fascinating 3D and 4K films. Closing Labor Day, Living in the Age of Airplanes, narrated by Harrison Ford, chronicles how air travel revolutionized life on Earth. DEEP SEA CHALLENGE 3D follows National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence James Cameron on a solo journey to the deepest known point in the ocean. And Meerkats 3D tracks an extraordinary family that stands just 12 inches tall.

This guy sucks but I dig him. Check out the Texas Ballet Theater production of Dracula along with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at Winspear Opera House Friday September 4 through Sunday September 13.

Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra goes Sci Fi this weekend with the Sci Fi extravaganza- Friday September 3 through Sunday September 6 at Bass Hall. Groove to tunes from Star Trek, Star Wars, Close Encounters and more. An added bonus…Star Trek's Commander William Riker will be joining the Symphony as the narrator!

The West Fest Czech and Polka festival is happening at the West Fairgrounds Friday through Sunday (September 4-6). New this year, a Kolache Eating Contest on Sunday September 6.

The 2015 Bedford Blues & BBQ Fest with Buddy Guy and Delbert McClinton is Friday through Sunday (September 4-6).

The 51st Annual Labor Day Rodeo is happening at the Lewisville Rodeo Grounds September 5-6.

The Biker Bash Texas event is happening at Granbury Square Plaza Saturday September 5- Monday September 7. They'll have a Custom Bike Show, Guest Speakers, Bike Games, Raffles, a Bike Blessing Booth and a lot more.

Ed Sheeran is playing Toyota Stadium Saturday September 5.

Lemmy has had some health issues…but he is scheduled to play the Bomb Factory with Motorhead/Saxon/and Crobot Friday September 4.

Whispering Bill Anderson is playing Arlington Music Hall Saturday September 5.

Anime Fest 2015 is happening at the Dallas Sheraton Friday September 4 through Monday September 7. Think Hello Kitty…for days.

The "Rolling Stone the Early Years" exhibit at the Arlington Museum of Art is set for Saturday September 5-October 18. Among other things, you can see the work of Baron Wolman, the first director of photography for Rolling Stone Magazine.

Watergun Fight 2015 - Part 2 is going on Saturday September 5 Klyde Warren Park.

The North Dallas Toy Show Saturday September 5 Valley View Center.

The Happy Birthday Orson Wells Film Festival is today through Monday. Tonight's Opening Reception involves a Screening of Citizen Cane. It runs Thursday September 3 Festival September 3-6.

You can also check out the Midnight Madness movie at the Inwood Theater. This week, it is the awesome "Raiders of the Lost Ark" Friday September 4.

I saw the movie version of this…but this live version will be a whole lot better. Into the Woods will be at the Irving Arts Center Friday September 4 through Sunday September 13. It is a musical journey with fairytale characters such as Cinderella, Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood.

The Pickin for Preemies Acoustic jam is Monday September 7 at Billy Bob's Texas. The 10th Annual Pickin' for Preemies benefits the Cook Children's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and features Texas Red Dirt country music.

The Rangers Labor Day Race is happening Monday September 7 Globe Life Park Arlington.
