Ketanji Brown Jackson Is President Biden's Supreme Court Pick

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBSNEWS.COM) - President Biden intends to nominate federal appeals court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer on the US Supreme Court, according to a source familiar with the process. The move would fulfill Mr. Biden's campaign pledge to name the first Black woman to the nation's highest court.

Mr. Biden plans to announce Jackson, 51, as his pick on Friday.
