Former Kay Granger Elementary School Volunteer Admits Sexually Assaulting Boy

FORT WORTH, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A 44-year-old man who last volunteered at Kay Granger Elementary School in 2017 is behind bars, charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child after the boy confided in a friend about the abuse.

Aaron Thomas Roskey confessed to sexually assaulting the victim in his home. This after detectives executed a search warrant at Roskey's home locating evidence.

There are no records of Roskey sexaully assaulting the victim, or any other child at Granger Elementary School.

Northwest ISD sent CBS 11 News the following statement: "Aaron Thomas Roskey volunteered at Kay Granger Elementary prior to the 2018-19 school year. The last date Mr. Roskey volunteered on campus was on Nov. 3, 2017. He has no professional affiliation with the school or Northwest ISD, and he is not a current volunteer."

Roskey is a disabled Army Veteran.

His bond is set at $35,000.
