DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - After spending several weeks out of a Cowboys uniform, troubled Dallas running back Joseph Randle will not be carrying the ball anytime soon.

On his weekly radio show on 105.3 The Fan, Dallas Cowboys owner and Genral Manager Jerry Jones said that Randle will be absent for another game - this time against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles.

"We're not planning on Joseph (Randle) playing Sunday" said Jones.

Jones would go no further with his comments on Randle or his future with the team. "I'm going to stop it right there because there are several things we're weighing right now - so let's just leave it at that."

Turning to the question of how injured QB Tony Romo is doing with his recovery and if Cowboys fans can still expect him to return on November 22nd against the Miami Dolphins, Jones said "he's really doing well - I know of no reason why he won't by play at that time."

"Hopefully we can get him (Romo) some work in at practice" said Jones.

After a lengthy time off from injry, and Romo projected to return as the Cowboys starting QB on November 22, it will be a short week and a quick turn-around as the Cowboys play four days later, on Thanksgiving Day, against the Carolina Panthers - but Jones thinks Romo can handle it.

"He's mentally prepared, he'll be doing work that gives him the physical ability to play the game" said Jones.
