Johnson's 3s Lift North Texas Over FIU 77-75

DENTON (AP) - Deckie Johnson made a pair of 3-pointers in the final minute and scored a career-high 32 points to lead North Texas to a 77-75 victory over Florida International on Thursday night.
Trailing by 12 with six minutes left, Johnson scored 16 points to lead North Texas back for the win.
The last of his eight 3-pointers, coming with 19 seconds remaining, gave North Texas a 76-75 lead before J-Mychal Reese added a free throw with three seconds left. The Panthers turned the ball over three times in the final minute.
Jeremy Combs had 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Mean Green (10-16, 5-8 Conference USA) and Reese added 16 points.
Adrian Diaz led FIU (12-15, 6-8) with 23 points. Donte McGill added 21, Daviyon Draper 13 points and 10 rebounds and Elmo Stephen 10 points.
The Panthers shot 52 percent but were outscored at the free-throw line by 14 points.
