DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - For the second year in a row, the Dallas Cowboys will return to the scene of the crime in Green Bay.
Everyone remembers what happened in the Cowboys' 26-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs on Jan. 11, 2015. Dez Bryant made what appeared to be a game-saving catch that could have sent Dallas to the NFC Championship Game. However, Dean Blandino, the senior vice president of officiating, ruled that Bryant didn't make a football move as he lost the ball, after he appeared to reach for the end zone. Because Bryant didn't maintain possession of the ball all the way to the ground, it was ruled an incomplete pass.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked by Shan and RJ on 105.3 The Fan if if he still has nightmares of the play after nearly two years has passed?
"Well, it's still knocked the credibility out from under the way we judge what's a catch and what's not... and since that play I don't believe they've been able to say it in a way that any of us understands yet."
Following up on those comments, Jones was asked if he was still confused about what is a catch and what isn't a catch?
"yes," Jones said.
