DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Jerry Jones joined the GBAG Nation today for his weekly segment on 105.3 The Fan. Jones said Dez Bryant's availability for Sunday will be determined on how he gets through practice today.
"According to how he comes in today from yesterday's work, then what he puts in today, that'll dictate a lot about how it goes Sunday," said Jones. "You'll want to really monitor his reps, his play time, you'll want to monitor his warming up. Dez is very capable of expending a normal player's entire energy package in his warm up. And so you'll want to watch that because he can't be in the same playing condition as he would have been had he played all year."
Jones says there is always a risk of re-injury but the Cowboys think the procedures Bryant had on his foot will hold up.
Jones also said that Joseph Randle's situation in Wichita, Kansas is under review by the NFL. Jones went on to say that Randle isn't playing this week because of his "physical situation."
