OXNARD, CA (CBS11S PORTS) - Jeremy Mincey's holdout was short and ended Sunday with him saying, "I always wanted to be a Cowboy and I'm glad I'm back to being a Cowboy."

The defensive end led the team with 6 sacks last season.

He's reportedly been rewarded with an extra $500,000 for this season and is believed to be working on an extension with the team. His driving motivation this season, however, is not money.

Mincey got married in the off-season to his longtime sweetheart Markevia and says it's been life changing.

In his words, he now has "something to play for."

With their two daughters, now settled and not having to change schools, Mincey can really live out the three F's: faith, family, football.  He says his moves on the dance floor at the reception are an example that he has rhythm and he is not a "big stiff."

For the last few weeks, Mincey has been promoting his new training camp album. Asked when it's going to be released, he says, "I had to make sure I was coming back first."
