JCPenney Holding Career Fair At 15 DFW Stores

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - JCPenney is hosting a career fair at 15 stores across North Texas on Tuesday in hopes of finding a group of 1,400 new employees, both seasonal and permanent, along with salon stylist associates. The hiring event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the locations listed below.
- Arlington: The Parks Mall
- Burleson: Burleson Town Center
- Cedar Hill: Cedar Hill Village
- Dallas: Timber Creek Crossing
- Denton: Golden Triangle Mall
- Fairview: The Village at Fairview
- Flower Mound: Robertson's Creek
- Fort Worth: Alliance Town Center
- Fort Worth: Ridgmar Mall
- Frisco: Stonebriar Centre
- Hurst: North East Mall
- Lewisville: Vista Ridge Mall
- Mesquite: Town East Mall
- Plano: Collin Creek Mall
- Rockwall: The Plaza at Rockwall
The department store is based in Plano, and will be seeking local workers for roles in customer service. That includes cashiers, merchandise support specialists, replenishment specialists and more. These employees will receive competitive pay, discounts of up to 25 percent in stores, flexible scheduling and advancement opportunities.
Salon stylists across the Metroplex are also invited to take part in a unique program at the department store chain. The plan is for incoming stylists with existing clients to set their own prices using JCPenney facilities, simulating a booth rental program, but without the overhead costs. The stylists can also enjoy perks including professional training, health benefits, paid vacation time and retirement plans.
