FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) -The cause of death of a mother who's body was in a field with her infant daughter, was hypothermia with paradoxical undressing.

Tarrant County Medical Examiner released the details on Lindsay Groce, 27, Thursday.

Groce's 13-month-old daughter, Hailey Gardner, also died of hypothermia.

Both were discovered in a field in far southwest Fort Worth.

Groce was naked, and her clothes were found strewn in the field, indicating she disrobed as she walked with Gardner from her wrecked vehicle.

Groce was found on top of Gardner, and their bodies were several hundred feet from the car.

With no visible injuries, other than "a few scratches," investigators didn't believe this was a homicide.
