ROANOKE (CBSDFW/1080 KRLD) — Officials say all of the cars have been cleared after a train hauling coal derailed near Roanoke over the weekend but the roadway near the crash will remain closed.

Union Pacific spokesman Jeff DeGraff says Highway 377 has been closed as heavy equipment moves in and out of the site.

Due to high traffic use, officials have decided that the stretch of road from Cross Timbers to Bobcat Boulevard will be open to traffic from 6:00am to 9:00am each morning, and from 3:00pm to 6:00pm each afternoon, but will be closed other hours.

Officials say track repairs are underway and repairs to the bridge could take up to a week.
