Homeowner Questioned After Killing Alleged Home Invader

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A Dallas homeowner is being questioned after an alleged home invasion left one person dead.
The homeowner shot and killed a man who he said broke into his home around 2:30 a.m. The shooting happened on Hudspeth Avenue, near South Lancaster Road. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not said whether charges might be filed or what circumstances, if any, led up to the attempted invasion.
Police have not released the name of the homeowner or the man killed.
