Hit-And-Run Collision Kills 23-Year-Old Man

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) - Grand Prairie Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian that happened early Sunday morning on the southbound Hwy 360 frontage road (Watson Rd) north of Brown Blvd/Avenue K.

Dennis Lamb, 23, of Southaven, MS, was walking southbound on the frontage road when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

Lamb wasn't discovered for an hour before a passing motorist noticed him lying on the side of the road at about 6 a.m.

He was taken by ambulance to Methodist Dallas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.

Police don't have a description of what type of vehicle struck Lamb.

This is the sixth traffic fatality in Grand Prairie in 2015.
