High Turnout Continues The Second Day Of Early Voting In North Texas

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas County saw a small dip while Tarrant County saw a slight increase in ballots cast on Tuesday, the second day of early voting for the November 8 general election.

Dallas County reported 53,278 voters Tuesday after having 58,278 cast ballots on Monday.

In 2012, 34,500 voted on the second day of early voting and in 2008, the number was 35,472.

In Tarrant County, 44,950 people cast ballots Tuesday compared to 43,149 on Monday.

In 2012, the county saw 33,603 vote on the second day and in 2008, the number was 31,989.

Collin County reported 30,644 early voters on Tuesday compared to 31,283 on Monday.

In 2012, the county saw 16,531 voters on the first day and 18,063 on the second day of early voting.
