Grand Prairie Police Search For Serial Bank Robber

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) -- Grand Prairie Police are searching for a suspect believed to be responsible for as many as 10 bank robberies in six cities.

Two of the robberies occurred in Grand Prairie. Each robbery occurred at a bank located inside a large retail store.

In most instances, the suspect enters the bank and displays a note demanding money. The suspect has been seen leaving the scene in a silver car or PT Cruiser.

The suspect is described as a black female -- approximately 30 to 40 years of age -- with a mole or piercing above the right side of her lip. She stands roughly 5-foot-2 and 160 pounds.

She's been seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes and oversized black sunglasses.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest. The Dallas FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is offering a reward of up to $10,000.
