DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Ever wanted to play Pac-Man in real life? Now you can -- kind of.

Google has built a fully functional Pac-Man game into Google Maps, allowing users to play the game anywhere one pleases.

To play the game, just go to Google Maps online -- or to the updated app on an iOS or Android device -- and identify a playing area with plenty of streets.

Then, simply click the Pac-Man icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.

It's unclear as to why Google brought the arcade game back to life, though April Fool's Day is on Wednesday.

If this is Google's idea of an April Fool's joke, it's not funny -- it is incredible!
