Garland Teen Arrested After Social Media Threat To 'Shoot Up' School

GARLAND, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A social media threat to "shoot up" Garland ISD's Lyles Middle School, lead to the arrest of a 14-year-old boy at his home Monday morning.

Garland Police confirm that school officials reported the threat to them Monday before school started.

Garland Police officers then went to the boy's home and after questioning, took him into custody.

The case is still under investigation.
