GARLAND (KRLD) - You can have a great meal and support people in Garland who are working to rebuild after the deadly December 26th tornadoes.

The tornadoes destroyed hundreds of homes and damaged more than a 1,000 homes.

City spokesperson Dorothy White says, "Some have made some tremendous progress. Others have a long way to go. Very often people are running into financial roadblocks or finding they don't have enough resources to cover everything that needs to be covered. " So, some Harbor Point restaurants in Garland are serving up meals for you to enjoy on this Saturday, July 23rd.

A portion of their sales will go to the #GarlandStrong campaign to help tornado victims recover. Those restaurants are Texas Land & Cattle, Primo's and The Flying Saucer on Bass Pro Drive just south of I-30.
