Garland Police Investigate Apparent Accidental Shooting

GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) - Garland police are investigating a shooting near 700 Park Forest Drive Sunday that appeared to be accidental.

Police said the accidental shooting involved two adults, a woman and her brother, when they found a gun.

According to police, the woman was accidentally shot in the back as the brother was putting the gun away.

Police said the woman was taken to Baylor Medical Center in Garland and her injury is not life-threatening.
