Garland Homeowner Shoots Man During Break-In

GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) - A homeowner woke up Thursday to hear a window shatter and a man breaking into his home at the 2600 block of Richland Drive.
He picked up a pistol and fired a single round at the intruder who got away.
The homeowner said he feared for his safety and reacted.
Detectives are currently working to identify the suspect.
