FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - A Frisco woman was arrested on terroristic threat charges, for allegedly waving a gun and yelling obscenities at a group of children at neighboring playground.

39-year-old, Kara McSweeney, was arrested Monday by Frisco police and is being held at Collin County Jail.

McSweeney was upset because of the loud noise coming from the Kids R Kids Learning Academy's playground behind her home.

McSweeney had complained in the past about the loud noise coming from the playground behind her home.

Teachers at the Academy say McSweeney waved a green rifle and starting yelling obscenities at the children.

The school says teachers rushed the children inside and called police.

The playground was full of children when McSweeny confronted them about the noise.

A letter was sent home to parents explaining the incident.
