MCKINNEY (CBSDFW.COM) – A Collin County jury has reached a guilty verdict in murder of UTD college administrator Anna Moses. Her ex-husband, 63-year-old Robert Moses, was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Anna was found dead at her home in January 2015 when she did not show up for work.

Officers went to Anna's house in Frisco on a welfare check and found her dead inside. Her car, a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, was also stolen. The vehicle later turned up abandoned a few blocks away from the residence.

Investigators spoke with Robert Moses on the day after Anna's body was discovered. During that interview, police noticed a fresh cut on his right hand, above his ring finger's knuckle, which was soaking through a bandage. That was the clue that led to his arrest.

In addition, DNA samples from Robert matched blood that was found in Anna's car.
