FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - According to Tarrant County health officials, a new Zika virus case has been discovered.

This is the fourth case to be reported out of Tarrant County according to Public Health Director Vinny Taneja.

Zika symptoms include fever, rash, eye and joint pain.

None of Tarrant County's cases of Zika were transmitted by local mosquitoes, this case was imported after the individual traveled to Puerto Rico.

Taneja says it's still crucial to protect ourselves against mosquito bites locally, as we are now well into the season.
