Fort Worth Teen Shot Following Alleged Argument

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW) - An exchange of insults ends with a shotgun blast overnight in Fort Worth, leaving one a teen injured.

Fort Worth Police are looking for suspects after a teenager was shot on Seth Barwise Street near Creekview Middle School.

Investigators say the teen was walking home from a friend's house around 11:00 pm Wednesday when a dark-colored car approached. There was an argument and as the teenager walked away he was hit in the leg by a shotgun blast.

Police say the young man was transported to JPS Hospital and that his injuries are not life-threatening.

Officials are trying to find out whether the victim knew his attackers.
