Fort Worth Police Looking For Man Who Assaulted Woman

FORT WORTH (KRLD) - Fort Worth Police need your help in looking for a man who attacked a woman while walking her dog earlier this month.

On August 4th just after 9:15, the woman was walking on White Settlement Road near the West Fork Trinity River when the man made a comment about her dogs.

Police say he originally continued walking the other way, but he turned around, grabbed the woman around the neck and held a gun to her head.

She was able to escape, and the attacker jumped over an embankment and fled.

The man is white, in his early 20s, between 6 feet and 6'2" tall, weighs between 275 and 300 lbs. and has short dark curly hair.

He was wearing a black T-shirt, black loose-fitting jeans and black tennis shoes.
