Fort Worth Police Arrest Man Who Shot At Officers

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth police arrested a man early Saturday morning after he exchanged gunfire with officers.

According to police, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence.

Police called the suspect out of the house. The suspect exited the house with a shotgun and exchanged fire with the officers.

According to police, the suspect barricaded himself inside of the house with a female.

Police said the suspect and the female exited the house without further incident.

Neither the officers nor the suspects sustained any injuries.

Police identified the man as Larry Trees, and he was arrested for two counts of attempted capital murder of a peace officer and assault on a family member.
