Fort Worth PD Seek Convenience Store Homicide Suspect

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The Fort Worth Police Department's Homicide Unit is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a homicide at Pronto convenience store Saturday.

According to police, officers responded to a robbery call at 800 East Long Ave Saturday.

Officers found the store clerk on the floor with a gunshot wound, and medical personnel arrived moments later according to police.

Police said the victim died from his injuries.

According to the investigation, the victim cooperated during the robbery and followed the suspect's demands.

The investigation determined that the suspect shot the victim unprovoked.

Police said the suspect is still at large and is armed and dangerous.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact 911 or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477.
