Fort Worth ISD Employee Has Mumps

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Tarrant County Public Health Department confirmed to Fort Worth ISD that an employee has developed a case of the mumps.

The school district said the employee does not work on a school campus.  The employee works in isolated offices of the district's Professional Development Center.

People with questions and concerns about mumps can also call Tarrant County Public Health at 817-321-5350.

On Monday, 48 people were diagnosed with mumps in Johnson County.
