Fort Worth Home Heavily Damaged In Overnight Fire

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) -- Investigators are working to determine what sparked a house fire in southwest Fort Worth early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters arrived at 6000 Whistler Court around 3 a.m. to find smoke coming from the attic.

The fire was extinguished and the residents escaped without injury.

A Fort Worth firefighter was overcome by heat and was taken to Harris Methodist Hospital.
