Fort Worth Crash Leaves 1 Person Dead

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - One person was killed and three others were hurt in a three-vehicle crash early Monday in south Fort Worth. It happened shortly after 2:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate-20, not far from Crowley Road.

MedStar said that one victim was ejected from a vehicle during the crash and pronounced dead at the scene.

The three other victims were each transported to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth. One of those people had suffered serious injuries. Their current conditions are not known.

The names of the four victims have not been released.

The Fort Worth Police Department was at the scene for several hours early Monday, however, there are still no details about how this crash happened.

The westbound lanes of Interstate-20 were shut down while authorities were conducting the investigation. All lanes of the highway have since been opened back up to traffic.
