FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM/AP) — Police arrested the founder and chairman of a Fort Worth nonprofit boys organization on child porn and solicitation charges.
Fort Worth Police say 33-year-old Paul Jamison Jr., of the nonprofit Developing Boys to Men, has been charged with online solicitation of a minor after a 15-year-old boy affiliated with the nonprofit showed police text messages sent to him from Jamison.
The victim said Jamison, who was the boy's mentor in the organization, asked him to send a sexually explicit picture on Tuesday, according to the arrest warrant.
The boy didn't send a picture, but instead went to the police.
Jamison is being held on a $10,000 bond. It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney.
The Fort Worth Police Department Crimes Against Children Unit said Jamison may have solicited child pornography from additional minors, and they ask those with information to contact the department at 817-332-5036. The investigation is ongoing.
