Former High School Coach Under Investigation By Denton ISD, Police

DENTON (CBSDFW) - A former coach at Denton High School, who abruptly resigned last week, is under investigation by the school district and police.
The Denton school district says in a statement they reported the assistant high school football coach to police last week on the same day he resigned.
The district says the coach is suspected of having an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student.
The coach's name hasn't yet been released due to the ongoing investigation.
The school district is currently conducting interviews to gather more information. Police say there could also be a criminal investigation.
