Former Fort Worth Teacher Arrested On Child Porn Charge

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Authorities arrested former Fort Worth teacher Matthew Keller Friday, July 1, on a federal child pornography charge.
According to the criminal complaint, Keller, 24, befriended a teen from Michigan online two years ago. He told police the teen was his boyfriend and admitted the two exchanged texts that were sexual in nature.
The boy's mother called police. She says she learned Keller had plans to fly to Michigan for a sexual encounter with her son.
Fort Worth ISD says Keller was hired in 2014 and taught at Southwest High School for two school years. He resigned in June.
The criminal complaint also describes Keller as a youth pastor.
