Former Dallas Star Darryl Sydor Arrested For DUI

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Former Dallas Stars' defenseman Darryl Sydor was arrested for DUI, and could face child endangerment charges according to The Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Sydor was taken into custody by the Anoka County Sheriff's department after he failed field sobriety tests and had a blood-alcohol content level of .30, over three times the legal limit. He was driving one of his sons to their hockey game when he was stopped.

Sydor currently serves as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Wild, and a was member of the Dallas Stars Stanley Cup Championship team in 1999. He played with the team from 1995 to 2002.
