MANCHESTER, NH (CBSDFW.COM) - On this day before the New Hampshire primary, Texas Senator Ted Cruz sought to seal the deal with Republicans.
"I'm undecided between Rubio and Ted Cruz," says voter Sandy Siegel.
Siegel, an undecided Republican, says she thought she would vote for Florida Senator Marco Rubio, but that was before his often-criticized performance during Saturday night's debate.
"On a principled level, I'm more in line with Ted Cruz, but who can actually win the nomination, I was leaning toward Rubio thinking that was more likely," says Siegel.
On why she feels Senator Cruz may not be able to win the nomination, Siegel says, "He may be a bit too polarizing."
"I believe he has the conservative values I'm looking for in a President," says Cruz supporter, Pamela Altemose.
Altemose says she recently made up her mind after facing a similar choice.
"It was between Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. (I was) a little concerned about Rubio's stand on immigration and concern about amnesty," says Altemose.
Cruz's pitch to voters, is that he's receiving support from conservatives, the liberty movement, Tea Party, and small business owners.
"That becomes a potent move from the people, It scares the living daylights out of Washington, D.C.," says Cruz.
After listening to Cruz and taking a picture with him, Sandy Siege says she still can't make a decide who is getting her vote.
"Not yet," says Siegel. "I'm going to have to go home and do a little more discussing, a little more soul-searching, I think it'll be a last minute decision."
