Fireworks Set Off Inside Dallas Target Store, 1 Employee Injured

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police are investigating after two juveniles threw fireworks inside the Cityplace Target store Friday night.

It happened just after 8:30 p.m. at the store on Haskell Avenue near Central Expressway.

Police said one employee was hurt.

Investigators could see on surveillance video the two boys lighting fireworks inside the store at the main entrance before leaving the store.

As of 10:00 p.m. officers were still searching the area for the suspects.

Several Dallas police officers were called to the scene along with Dallas Fire-Rescue.

The store closed early due to the incident.
