TUSCALOOSA (CBSDFW.COM) - A huge fire destroyed a home on Lake Tuscaloosa last night, and CBS 11 has confirmed it belongs to Dallas Cowboys defensive star Rolando McClain.

Chief Tom Clark with Carroll's Creek Fire Protection District told Birmingham CBS station WIAT, that the Northport house belongs to McClain. McClain grew up in Alabama and played for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team.

McClain tweeted Tuesday morning his disbelief at the news.

The 7,500 square foot home was unoccupied at the time of the fire and was listed on several websites for a sale price of $1.5 million.

No word on when the fire broke out or what might have caused it.
